水平造型通常模具在造型室（以下简称砂箱）中间砂箱分上、下两段，我们便于模具的移动方便而将下箱分成两段。便有了中箱的产生，中箱的上口固定模具，成型后中箱和下箱的型连在一起，所以我们用三节箱造成的型还是上、下两段型。
Horizontal moulding is usually divided into upper and lower parts in the middle of the moulding room (hereinafter referred to as the sand box), so we can move the moulds conveniently and divide the lower part into two parts. Then there is the production of the mid-box, the upper fixed die of the mid-box, after forming, the mid-box and the lower-box are linked together, so we use the three-section box to create the upper and lower two-section model.
为了使产品精度误差小，我们采用串通式定位方式、销固定在下箱，中箱、上箱为套，从而保证错箱精度，错箱的大小既是销、套的磨损大小。为保证砂型强度均匀，我们在各段砂箱的四周都安装了排气塞，以确保砂能射到每个角落而不受气的排挤，型砂的厚度可根据产品调整。
In order to make the product precision error small, we adopt the serial positioning method, pin fixed in the lower box, the middle box and the upper box as a set, so as to ensure the accuracy of the wrong box. The size of the wrong box is both the wear size of the pin and the sleeve. In order to ensure uniform strength of sand moulds, we installed exhaust plugs around each section of the sand box to ensure that sand can be injected into every corner without being squeezed out by air. The thickness of sand moulds can be adjusted according to the product.
